SALVATION

OF THE SOUL

ACCORDING TO

THE BIBLE

"Search the Scriptures;

for in them ye think

ye have eternal life:

and they are they

which testify of me."

1. WE ARE ALL SINNERS

"For all have sinned, and

come short of

the glory of God." 

(Romans 3:23)

​

"For whosoever shall keep

the whole law, and

yet offend in one point,

he is guilty of all."  

(James 2:10)

2.  SIN HAS CONSEQUENCES

"...the soul that sinneth,

it shall die." 

(Ezekiel 18:4)

​

"For the wages of sin is death..."

(Romans 6:23)

​

"And fear not them which

kill the body, but are not able

to kill the soul:

but rather fear him

which is able to destroy

both soul and body in hell."

(Matthew 10:28)

"It is a fearful thing to fall into

the hands of the living God."

(Hebrews 10:31)

3.  WITHOUT JESUS THERE IS NO HOPE

"But we are all as

an unclean thing,

and all our righteousnesses

are as filthy rags..." 

(Isaiah 64:6)

"He that hath the Son hath life;

and he that hath not the Son

of God hath not life." 

(1John 5:12)

"For by grace are ye saved 

through faith;

and that not of yourselves:

it is the gift of God: 

Not of works,

lest any man should boast."

4.  GOD STILL LOVES THE SINNER

"But God commendeth

his love toward us,

in that while we were yet sinners,

Christ died for us."

(Romans 5:8)

"For God so loved the world,

that he gave his

only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him

should not perish,

but have everlasting life."

(John 3:16)

5.  JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOU, YOUR SIN, AND YOUR SINS

"For I delivered unto you

first of all that which I also received,

how that Christ died for our sins

according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried...

(1Corinthians 15:3-4)

6.  JESUS CHRIST ROSE FOR YOU, YOUR SIN, AND YOUR SINS

...and that he rose again

the third day

according to the scriptures..."

(1Corinthians 15:4)

"Much more then,

being now justified by his blood,

we shall be saved from wrath through him."

(Romans 5:9)

7.  EXCHANGE ALL OF YOUR SIN & SINS

with ITS CONSEQUENCES

FOR HIS PERFECT RIGHTEOUSNESS

with HIS BENEFITS!

"For he hath made him

to be sin for us,

who knew no sin;

that we might be made

the righteousness of God

in him."

(2Corinthians 5:21)

8.  BELIEVE, CALL UPON,

AND RECEIVE

THE GIFT OF

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

FOR THE SALVATION

OF YOUR SOUL!

"...BELIEVE

on the Lord Jesus Christ,

and thou shalt be saved..."

Acts 16:31

"...but the gift of God is

eternal life through

Jesus Christ our Lord." 

(Romans 6:23)

"But as many as RECEIVED him,

to them gave he power

to become the sons of God,

even to them that

BELIEVE on his name..."

(John 1:12)

​

"...and him that cometh to me

I will in no wise cast out." 

(John 6:37)

​

LET US PRAY...

"That if thou shalt CONFESS 

with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shalt BELIEVE in thine heart

that God hath raised him

from the dead,

thou shalt be saved." 

(Romans 10:9)

DOES NOT SAVE,

BUT RATHER

THE BELIEVING &

THE RECEIVING

OF ITS MEANING...

"Lord, I confess that

I am a sinner, 

and I do not want to suffer

the consequences of sin. 

I BELIEVE that Jesus Christ

died for my sins and my sin,

was buried, and

rose again on the third day...

FOR ME...

I wholly RECEIVE this truth

and ask you to save my soul...

I here and now call upon

Jesus Christ to be my Saviour. 

Thank you for saving my soul.
